Perched over her baby on a log in a loving pose cuddled up side by side, she is saying, "Owl always watch over you". 6.5" tall x 4.5 wide, the weight is around 3# of solid stone, this statue is extremely detailed, the feathers are many and intricate.

This pretty great horned owl or barn owl mom and owlet are sitting on a branch keeping a watchful eye on the woodlands they reside in. The cute little baby owlet is staying close to mom for protection and cuddles. To hear them is magical, Who cooks for you, who cooks for you! Hoo-Awhhh!

The owl was honored by the ancient Celtics as the keeper of spirits who had passed from one plane to another, ruler of the night and seer of souls. Often myth indicates the owl accompanying a spirit to the underworld - winging its newly freed soul from the physical world into the realm of spirit.

Native Americans associated the meaning of the owl with wisdom, foresight, and keeper of sacred knowledge, largely due to the fact that the owl is a great foreteller of weather conditions. Also its ability to see at night is legend and this attribute would be invoked during ceremonies when an oracle of secret knowledge was required.



My warm and whimsical statues are lovingly hand crafted by myself from beginning to end. The material is a strong weather resistant stone/cement composition, designed to withstand severe weather conditions. The statues I produce are high-quality and beautifully detailed.

All items are individually hand painted by me with paints designed for outdoor statues in a classic style of vintage grays, multi tone shades resembling aged faux stone and other methods listed to bring out the details. I try to be unique in every way and I hope to convey this through my work. I personally create, hand paint, package and ship every item from my shop. Each piece will vary slightly in shadings and color resulting in an original one of a kind creation.

My statues/figurines/plaques are cast in cement or architectural stone construction media to achieve superb detail and brought to life with paints & high-quality sealers designed to be weather resistant if you choose to place outdoors.
